Spring has sprung with a flower. Or more.

Iancu drew me the other day a flower bouquet, telling me that, although Nicolai took him to the flower shop, he really didn’t find the flower that we wanted to give to me, he didn’t like any of them. That’s how mon petit took the matter into his own hands, in the way he knew best. Adorable, isn’t it?

His gesture was my inspiration, I confess, for today’s outfit. I’ve chosen a skirt with a floral and geometric pattern and tried to put the outfit together around it, remaining into it’s colour scheme. It was bound to be pink blue and pink in my case, but you can work with whatever colours you like. That is how I got from blue to a denim jacket, which I’m not going to give up, no matter the season – I really think that denim is one of the greatest thing that was ever created in fashion. I’ve added a pastel pink sweatshirt, just because fondants are not just a guilty culinary pleasure. We already talked about lengths, so I’m not going to tell you again that you have to dare to wear shorter than people are used too. The shoes are respecting the colour scheme, of course.

At the beginning of the week I was telling you that I can’t bare with winter and cold any longer. I was completely hopeless. But so it seems that, a few days later, with a flower drawn by Iancu and a patterned skirt, it seem that spring has sprung.
