Did you watch the Golden Globes, les filles? For me, this is an excellent style exercise, year after year. A lot of the outfits take my breath away, some of them, unfortunately in a negative way, and sometimes I get my make-up inspiration for shootings only by watching the show. But I don’t want to talk about the ”DONT’S” in today’s post. So let’s try to stay on a positive note.
I loved Jennifer Lawrence, who was wearing a Dior haute couture gown, Kirsten Dunst in a Valentino haute couture and Jennifer Lopez in Giambattista Valli haute couture creation. When it comes to make-up, the ones of Amber Heard, Rooney Mara, Olivia Wilde and Kate Blanchet has drawn my attention. But above all, Lancome’s ambassador, Kate Winslet was the shinning star of the night.
Kate’s make-up for this year was created by Lancome’s Make-up Creative Director, Lisa Eldgridge. I have greater news than this: the make-up artist revealed the products used for Kate’s make-up for the big night. For the base she used Teint Idole Ultra 24H, Effacernes Longue Tenue, Belle de Teint- Belle de Miel (04) and Blush Subtil Rose Paradise (021). Kate eyes were perfectly contoured with Hypnôse Star Eyes Palette in Brun Adoré, Artliner in Noir, Hypnôse Doll Eyes Waterproof and a brown eyebrow pencil. For the lips, she used two products: Contour Pro lip pencil and 240M Rouge in Love lipstick.
