A while ago, I assisted to the presentation of fall/winter beauty trends of 2015. It was a presentation by Netta Szekely and Alexandra Spyrydopolou, who are MAC make-up artists. I know that your thought is still on the beach, at holidays and exotic destinations (cause I’m there also with my thought), but I simply could not hold from unveiling the news and updates.
I promise that soon, we’re going to talk more in depth about this subject regarding the basic trends, which became visible on the catwalk. I am very curious to see which ones fit better and which ones you’ll adapt on a daily basis.
I start the series of my materials about beauty trends of the cold season, confessing that I am extremely happy that red lipstick has obtained the throne this year, also. Don’t think, though, that it’s that Hollywood red shade, but more of that red that Woodstock fan’s used to wear.
Whether it’s brick red or a shade of old cognac, the star tones of this season betray a mixture of classical elegance and nonchalance, modernity opposite to the Hollywood perfection. If you like this color, you will take advantage of the fact that this fall is trendy to wear very red lips, even dark, with undertones of purple plum.
And I have some other good news: in September, in MAC stores, the new VAMPLIFY new make-up collection will be available. It’s impossible not to fall in love with the gloss in dramatic shades and the lip pencils.
Glosses contain strong pigmentation, but also have a special glow and give a comfortable feeling not only when you apply, but all the time that you wear them. I haven’t decided yet between Peer Pressure (a very intense burgundy) or Tease Don’t Touch (bright red), but until September, I will certainly not return from MAC without one of them.
