Beauty lies in the details

I was a little girl when my mother was telling me that  always – but always -, before I go out of the house, I have to look two times in the mirror, to be sure that everything is where it’s supposed to be. From the headband to the lace stockings and the collar of the shirt and the glossiness of the patent leather shoes, everything had to be excellent the moment we went out for a walk. I remembered this one Sunday at lunch time, when I saw Ilona how she was checking her outfit in the mirror.

Mes cherries, beauty and style lie in the details. I always pay attention to details and I really thing that every outfit can stand out even more if we really pay good attention to detail.

I would like it if, at school, kids would learn, besides the classic subjects – History, Mathematics, Romanian, Foreign Languages etc. – also Attention to details. It would help them become adults that aspire perfection, and this doesn’t sound that bad, does it?
