My mother remembers even now that every year on the first day of school she had bigger emotions than me. Since I took Ilona to the French High-school “Anne de Noailles “, to the small group (petite section) and up until she’ll enroll in college, most certainly that I’ll have the same experiences as my mom. The first day of school has always been important in my childhood and inevitably, I also taught my daughter that the return to school is associated with joy, looking forward to learning new things and favorite activities. And since tomorrow is the bid day, Ilona is walking in front of me with a pleated skirt and a velvet blouse, both from Bonpoint. And even if she wore them at the last shooting, she is just as fascinated by them just as she saw them for the first time. I think that’s the magic of this brand, which this year launched an anniversary collection. Inspired by the 70’s, the collection marks 40 years since the launch.
Pop rock outfits, velvet dresses, iconic brand models, all intertwine and complement each other, in a refined and exclusive collection. Commemorating the 40 years, Bonpoint spoils us with haute couture pieces, handmade with the highest quality materials.
However, reentry doesn’t just mean the happiness of wearing a new outfit. It’s about seeing your friends again (even if from year to year colleagues change), it’s about dreams being contoured in coloring books, and it’s about learning what it means to have the chance of a new beginning. Ilona already knows that. She just entered the “older group” (la grande section, as the French say).
