Less is more – which perfectly describes the Ladylike style. It’s true that if you make up an outfit that fits in this registry, there is not a lot of room for personal whims or innovations. The loose cut, the colors in pastel shades, few but effective accessories, and shoes without exaggerated heels remain the key elements. That doesn’t mean you have to quit wearing your red lipstick.
However, I will not summarize the basic principles of a Ladylike outfit. I’ve talked about this subject before, over here: https://monicatand.com/easy-chic-flavor/. And just as in that case, I chose to wear again P.A.R.O.S.H. I love both the material of the pink dusted dress, and also the extremely feminine bow placed at the wais.
Today’s post, though, is based on a different theme. No, it’s nothing complicated or cheesy, like I would write after a nice week-end spent in Maramures next to childhood friends. I just want to say this: Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, well, you are not.
