A few days ago I was invited by Lancôme at a very important event that is part of the brand’s story in Romania. Lancôme presented – in front of professional journalists and beauty bloggers – the new National make-up artist. The one and only Alexandru Abagiu. A story that gave me so much joy as if it was a personal accomplishment.
Alexandru Abagiu is one of the best in his area of expertise, a man that I’ve come to admire for his perseverance in trying to be always better than yesterday. I’ve seen Alexandru Abagiu many times at work and I understood that, behind all of the raw talent that he has, there is also lots and lots of work.
Whoever thinks that being a make-up artist is just another job is very wrong. As in any other branch, in the beauty area, if you want to be the best, that means that you have to be 100% dedicated, 24/7. Alexandru Abagiu did this for the past 20 years, and the position of National make-up artist for Lancôme comes with as an accreditation.
I can’t wait to see the beautiful project that will have Alexandru Abagiu’s signature from now on, in the world of absolute elegance Lancôme.
