I’m thinking about summer, les filles, I’ve already told you that. Or, to be more realistic, I’m thinking about spring. There’s something about the frosty sunshine from the last few days that hardens my willingness to bare with cold weather and the snow and makes me want more and more a change of season.
Today’s outfit was put together with the idea of summer in my mind and, more specifically, at the thought of vacation. I was inspired by the colours of the sea when I started putting together the outfit, trying to elevate my mood, if I can’t influence the temperature outside. You should try it too, it helps. Take a vibrant patterned dress so when you look at it you can almost feel the seasons change. Add a cardigan on top – I chose to go on navy blue tones, but you can also add a colour of your choice – if we don’t want to tremble from the cold outside, try a chic way to secure the cardigan with a belt that accentuates and contours the waist. Also out of thermic reasons I’ve added fur to the outfit, but you should feel free to add whatever you want, even if it’s an oversized warm coat or a fur coat. If you’re not so much in contact with the freezing outside and you’re getting around by car, like me, I suggest you try wearing a pair of casual spring flat shoes, because they will help your outfit reach its goal: to make you feel closer to summer. If you can’t avoid the freezing outside, then go for a pair of short and flat boots. In this case, the pantyhose or the tights of your choice should be extra warm.
So, can you feel the breeze from the seaside? A la prochaine, les filles!
