Dress for the occasion. It’s not novelty, and I haven’t invented this tasteful rule, but I do believe it is a must to respect the dress code depending the event. Though I don’t consider it a great idea to define your look depending on one piece of clothing. From discussions with my friends, I noticed that it is enough to pronounce the word “tennis” or “sweater” that they already think about a sporty outfit. I mixed a sweater with a jacket and a pair of pants. Do I look like I would be going to the park? I don’t believe so. I would like to stop hearing misconceptions. Especially in fashion, where they really don’t belong.
P.S: I simply adore Lab-617, Maison et Laboratoire de Mode jackets. The name comes from the subtle blending of fibers and experiments that materials are going through in order to obtain a special effect when you touch them. Bref, I like everything that comes out from Nicolas Besson’s hands, the home designer, which is also the couturier and knows to saw fashion impecably.
